PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (SNN TV) – What a hoot! A night of comedy is coming this Saturday to benefit the Peace River Wildlife Center.
“What a Hoot” is an event starring comedians Mark Evans and Al Ernst. This event will benefit PRWC’s future education center on Henry Street in Punta Gorda.
Peace River Wildlife Center said it’s the only wildlife rehabilitation center in Charlotte County. Its new four-acre parcel on Henry Street will allow for more diverse wildlife on display for public education. It’ll feature interactive displays, more space for public programs, and a professional kitchen to feed residents.
Comedians Evans and Ernst have performed at least 1,000 shows together, with Ernst being named Entertainer of the Year three times by Carnival Cruise Lines.
The event is this Saturday at the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association at 2001 Shreve Street. Tickets are $45 and include two beverage tickets, or you can pay $70 for a VIP ticket which also includes reserved seating, a meet and greet with the comedians, and two after-party beverage tickets.
