LAKEWOOD RANCH – Manatee County’s population is booming, as are the students, and as is the recognition of student and adult artists and art leaders in the area. Perhaps you’d like to celebrate them as well?
You can next month at Arts Alive, the third celebration presented by the Manatee Arts Education Council in partnership with the School District of Manatee County and the Manatee Education Foundation.
All people (and in Village of the Arts’ case, area) being recognized have helped build the arts in Manatee County — Ron Lambert, Charles Clapsaddle, Tess Chawi, Dr. Bill Jones, Deb Gamsky Bell, and the Village of the Arts. In addition to that, a host of performers will be there, including the Manatee High jazz band, MSA Inferno & Heat dance teams, Braden River High Theatre & Dance Thespian Troupe, and the master of ceremonies, Marco La Manno, who will open the event with a ballroom routine with Ballroom City instructor, Sonia Ragan.
