SARASOTA (WSNN) – Alright, our news director says we’re taking a little poetic license with this next story and calling it, car versus countertop.
Sarasota police tell SNN a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee ran a red light, hit another car, and plowed through a few sheets of granite countertop material before slamming into an FPL pole. The accident occurring at 17th Street and East Avenue early Wednesday afternoon. No injuries in either vehicle. Minor damage to the building that houses Phoenix Granite and Tile. FPL was called to check out the pole.
