MANATEE – The Cancer Resource Network hosts its 21st annual Cancer Survivor Day Celebration.
The nonprofit organization has helped thousands of cancer patients on the Suncoast get the resources they need during their fight against cancer. Now they are celebrating their defeat.
“I think we all need to celebrate life and find happiness and kindness to each other especially today in the way the, you know the turmoil the world is right now,” said Lynda Geno, cancer survivor. “And this all positive and happy! You know, we need that.”
The survivors were honored at the celebration and received love and support from their family and community members throughout the luncheon.
