SARASOTA – CAN’s Juneteenth celebration was not the only first for the Community health center this month.
The organization named Dr. Rishi Patel as their new interim CEO.
Dr. Patel, who is CAN’s former COO and executive vice-president, wants the organization to work with the diverse community on the Suncoast.
“HIV does not discriminate against race, gender, age, and we want to make sure that we support the communities to make sure that CAN is part of the community and CAN makes up an inclusive part of the community where everyone is equal,” said Interim President and CEO for CAN Community Health, Rishi Patel.
