Buccaneers expected to fire Byron Leftwich

LEFTWICH

TAMPA (SNN-TV) – Following last night’s loss, according to the Pewter Report, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly moving on from Offensive Coordinator Byron Leftwich.

After four seasons with the Bucs Leftwich and the Bucs offense regressed to the middle of the league, ranking 15th this past season in total yards, two years removed from winning the Super Bowl.

This season, the Bucs averaged 364.7 yards per game while scoring just 18.4 points, good for 25th in the league. Earlier today, Bucs Head Coach Todd Bowles says no decision has officially been made about Leftwich’s future.
