Buccaneers, Eagles clash on Thursday Night Football

PHI TB

PHILADELPHIA (SNN-TV) – Looking for their fifth win on the year, the Buccaneers (4-1) travel to Lincoln Financial Field to battle the Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) on Thursday Night Football.

The Eagles face a tough task this week. Defensively, they’ll take on a Bucs offense that features talented playmakers across the field, led by Tom Brady. Offensively, they’ll run into the teeth of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ No. 1 rushing defense in the NFL, allowing only 45.8 yards per game, a whopping 30 yards better than the next best.

The only area in the Eagles may exploit, is the Bucs secondary. With Jalen Hurts being the most elusive QB Tampa Bay has faced this season, it’ll provide a serious challenge. Hurts running ability, combined with the deep ball skills of WR Devonta Smith, should force the Buccaneers secondary to step up.

Kickoff tonight from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia is set for 8:20.
