NORTH PORT (SNN-TV) – North Port High School announced earlier today that Coach Bruce Wallace has accepted the position of Head Coach of the Bobcat Boys Basketball program.
Wallace joins North Port after serving as the head basketball coach and teacher at Davie County High School in North Carolina.
The hiring comes after head coach Ryan Power after left the program to become the new head coach in his hometown of Jensen Beach, and assistant Luke Davis accepted an offer to become the new head coach at Venice.
As for Wallace, he led the Davie War Eagles last season to a 13-11 record, and hopes to improve upon the 12-13 record the Bobcats posted this year.
