HOUSTON (SNN-TV) – From players to the grounds crew, everyone at Minute Maid Park is preparing for Game one of the 2021 World Series between the Astros and the Braves.
After winning their respective League Championship Series, Houston will face Atlanta.
Since the Astros have the better regular season record, they’ll get home field advantage.
This is the third World Series appearance in the last five years for Houston, while it’s Atlanta’s first trip back to the big show since 1999.
First pitch is scheduled for 8:08pm tonight from Minute Maid Park, where Atlanta’s starter, former Ray, Charlie Morton, squares off with Houston’s Framber Valdez.
