TAMPA (SNN-TV) – Tom Brady became the the first player ever to to throw for 600 Touchdowns, in the Bucs 38 to 3 win over Chicago yesterday.

The Bucs won their fourth straight game for the best seven-game start in franchise history. They also avenged one of their five 2020 regular-season losses, with Brady completing 20 of 36 passes for 211 yards and four TD’s.

The Tampa Bay defense did its job, too, limiting the offensively challenged Bears (3-4) to Cairo Santos’ second-quarter field goal and sacking rookie Justin Fields four times, forcing two fumbles. Dee Delaney had one of the Bucs’ three interceptions.

With the injuries piling up for the Bucs, head coach Bruce Arians wasn’t worried about his team he says, he expected the stellar play. “It’s always the next man up, and if you don’t believe in it, if you just say it, it won’t happen. We truly believe it and we talk to these guys – when you’re on this team, you have a role. Accept your role. At any point in time, that role’s going to change; the level of play and expectation level doesn’t change.”

The Bucs are next in action on Halloween when they travel to New Orleans to take on the Jameis Winston, Alvin Kamara and the Saints.
