SARASOTA (WSNN) – It’s the last day of Pride month, and if you’re looking for a colorful bite to eat, Bijou Garden Cafe has the meal.
Located in Downtown Sarasota, the restaurant is offering a free house red or white wine with any entree. And if you ask for the pride special, you’ll get a free colorful dessert.
Also, the chefs just curated a new menu for the summer season. Some of the items include a mezzo plate and beet carpaccio.
“It’s colorful, it’s fresh, it’s light, it’s summertime, so it’s hot it’s humid,” Covelli said. “So you want to be able to go into a restaurant and not feel over-bloated. You want to leave feeling satisfied, that you’ve had enough food, but yet be able to go home and not feel that uncomfortable movement.”
If you want to try their new menu, the doors open at five from Tuesday to Saturday.
