SARASOTA – Sarasota Police responded to a call of a bicyclist hit by a car near the Selby Botanical Gardens.
The call came in after two Saturday afternoon. The accident happened on the corner of Mound Street and Orange Avenue.
The right hand lane heading eastbound was temporarily closed while officers investigated the crash.
One person was seen leaving in an ambulance. All lanes are reopened. No other details have been released at this time.
