NOKOMIS – A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 41 and Albee road sends a woman to the hospital.
Florida Highway Patrols say it happened around 12:30 today.
FHP says one of the drivers hit a telephone pole.
The Nokomis Fire department transported a driver of the black vehicle to Sarasota memorial hospital as a trauma alert.
The driver of the other vehicle went to Venice hospital with minor injuries.
A southbound lane on U.S. 41 had a temporary closure, but opened up about an hour after.
Troopers are investigating the crash.
