MANATEE COUNTY (SNN TV) – An 11-year-old and a 15-year-old child die in an SUV accident in Manatee County.
Florida Highway Patrol says a 43-year-old Winter Haven man was traveling west on State Road 62.
Around 6:32 p.m. Saturday, he lost control on the wet road and collided with a concrete power pole. Both he and the 34-year-old woman passenger were seriously injured and transported to Blake Medical Center.
Unfortunately, the children in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
This crash remains under investigation.
