LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (SNN TV) — Three Suncoast communities ranked in the top 10 top-selling master-planned communities nationwide.
It’s part of an annual list by RCLCO Real Estate Consulting.
Lakewood Ranch in Manatee County had another strong year for home sales, ranked as the No. 2 top-selling master-planned community, and the No. 1 multi generational master-planned community nationally in 2023. Lakewood Ranch reported 2,257 sales last year, 22% higher than the pace set in 2022.
Babcock Ranch in Charlotte County ranked No. 7 with 945 home sales, up 1% from 2022. Babcock Ranch is a solar powered community that experienced minimal impact from Hurricane Ian in 2022.
And Wellen Park in south Sarasota County ranked No. 9 with 887 sales last year, an increase of 23% from 2022.
The Villages in Central Florida ranked No. 1, though sales slowed 23% from 2022.
Overall sales increased 13.7% from 2022.
