ORLANDO (SNN TV) – What would you wait 220 minutes in line to do? If you wanted to go on Disney World’s Splash Mountain one last time, you had to do just that.
The Magic Kingdom Attraction’s last day in operation was Sunday, and Twitter account @ThemeParkExpress posted a picture showing a wait of 220 minutes (3 hours and 40 minutes). A TikTok video claimed the wait was 5 hours at one point, though we can’t verify that.
Splash Mountain opened in October 1992, set in the southern bayou and featuring a 50-foot drop. It will be replayed by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, based on the 2009 film The Princess and the Frog.
