SARASOTA – The Tea Party Patriots Action sponsored the 10th Anniversary Tea Party Rally in Bayfront Park to celebrate Tax Day.
The rally was in support of President Donald Trump’s statement in his State of the Union address in which he says quote “America will never be a Socialist country.” Dozens of Trump supporters from Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte County came in support of stopping socialism and choosing freedom instead.
“We’re out here to stop socialism to support our president to make America great again that’s what Donald Trump is all about,” said Lillian Ridgeway, event organizer
“America first really that’s what succinctly what President Trump said and that’s what the country wants. That’s why he was elected,” said Caroline Wetherington, founder of Women for Trump Sarasota-Manatee.
Groups sponsoring the event included Trump Adorable Deplorable, Sarasota Trump Volunteers and Women for Trump Sarasota-Manatee.
