SARASOTA (WSNN) – Since the coronavirus canceled its annual spring fundraiser, the April’s Fools Fête, WBTT is putting a new show online.
WBTT artist, Ariel Blue, joins Sheldon Rhoden and other artists to perform some soul hits.
Blue says it about an hour of Marvin Gaye tunes. And the artistic and executive director will offer commentary over the presentation.
Blue says it’s exciting to have a space to continue to use their artistry.
“It’s refreshing, although kind of weird, because we still had to following social distancing rules,” Blue said. “So, we can’t have that peer-to-peer actor closeness on stage. We try to make it intimate but it’s like six-feet guys
The online show will be available on May 21 from 7 pm to 10 pm. The link and tickets can be on WBTT’s website.
