SARASOTA (WSNN) – Daredevil, Nik Wallenda, tells SNN what to expect in his next epic show.

Wallenda is self-producing a drive-in style thrill show right in his home town, Sarasota.

He says he’s stepping outside his comfort zone, producing this show.

It came about through an effort in helping his entertainment friends financially.

His wife, Erendira, along with daredevils holding world records will be in it, including FMX freestyle jumpers, BMX riders, motorcycles in a steel globe, a “wheel of steel” and a human cannonball.

And whiles there’s a 300 car limit, with every car separated by eight feet, he says everyone will be able to see.

“One of the cools things about the show, and the reason we designed the show the way we did, is pretty much all the actions happen above ground. Besides the emcee, and maybe the take off-ramps for the bikes, everything happens above the ground. So, no matter where you are, you’ll actually have an incredible view of the entire show.”

Cars will have a station to tune into when they arrive. Circus and fair food will be available as well. It will be for about 75-90 minutes. And, Wallenda says while he’s usually the closing act, this show will be different.

The shows will be held at Nathan Benderson Park on the weekends of June 5-7 and June 11-14.

Tickets can be purchased online at daredevilrally.com.

A share of the proceeds will benefit All Faiths Food Bank. Attendees can get $1 for every can of non-perishable food brought to the event.
