LAKEWOOD RANCH (WSNN) – Moms of furry babies are celebrating Mother’s Day.
Saturday is also National Dog Mom Day.
DOGPerfect is celebrating by offering curbside pickup of free goodies and treats for family pets.
Store manager, Megan Boston-Wood, says they’re more than just a store, they offer an experience for pet owners.
So, they prepared about 125 bags of food, treats, toys and a mystery gift card.
Boston-Wood says she’s excited to help pet parents get through this while they’e stuck at home with their parents.
“We are very happy to provide those services and toys and treats and things to keep it interesting for them at home,” Boston-Wood said.
“I think we all need a little pick-me-up right now with everything that’s going on,” expecting mother and dog mom of two, Shawna Barfield, said. “So, it’s really special to be able to just come by curbside, get a little special treat for your fur babe.
Barfield says she does all the normal mom things with her fur pets to make sure they’re happy and healthy.
So, Barfield is thankful to DOGPerfect to be able to celebrate the bond with her pets.
