SARASOTA – 17-year-old Cole Eicher was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma at the age of 12. Devastating news, but that did not deter him from fighting back. he overcame, and is now cancer free. As phenomenal as beating cancer is, he made it exponentially better by turning his knowledge, drive, and inspiration into a program to help others that or going through what he went through.
Cole was recognized Friday night at the 14th Annual Dick Vitale Gala as a beacon of light for the future, as well as proof that the $25 million that Vitale’s tireless work has raised thus far is working.
