BRADENTON (SNN-TV) – The 2nd Annual Manatee vs. Sarasota County All-Star Game is set for Friday at State College of Florida in Bradenton. The event put on by the SCF Manatees basketball program will showcase some of the Suncoast’s top seniors.
The girl’s game will tip-off at 6pm from Hal Chasey Gymnasium. In between the games there will be a 3-point shooting contest for both the boys and the girls. Both winners will then compete against one another in one last round. Immediately following the 3-point contest, there will be a dunk contest. The finale of the night will be the boy’s game, which Tips-Off at 7:30pm.
BJ Ivey and Ty Bryant head-up the Sarasota County boys and girls team, respectively, whereas Matt Fletcher and Jerry Aquino will coach the Manatee County squads.
Both the girls and boys rosters are highlighted by top Suncoast stars such as University of Tampa commit Olivia Davis and Texas Tech commit Jason Jackson.
