PALMETTO (SNN-TV) – 3-star QB Clayton Dees is transferring to Palmetto from Lakewood Ranch, reuniting with his former head coach, Rashad West.

Last season, Dees threw for over 2,000 yards, tallying 16 total TDs, 13 passing and 3 rushing. Dees led Lakewood Ranch to a 6-4 record last season.

Back in February, the former Mustangs coach, West, was introduced as Palmetto’s new head coach following Dave Marino’s resignation to begin the year.

Entering his senior season, Dees currently holds six scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, Temple, Fordham, UMass and FIU.
