MANATEE – The annual Art Slam took over the Framer’s market in downtown Bradenton.

Hundreds showed up to the art street fest on Saturday morning and packed Old Main Street. Several art students from different schools across Manatee County set up art booth and had interactive activities for kids.

5th grader Sabrina Moss from Virgil Mills Elementary got to live out her dream and perform in front of a live audience. “I came for iPad ensemble where we basically make music on iPad,” said Moss. “Being able to perform in front of a live audience.”

The event was free to the public and serves as a way for students to take art out of the classroom or studios and into the streets.
