SARASOTA – With both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions in the history books we now move on to the campaign trail.

Democrats looking to build on the foundation — after the final night of their convention. The Democratic ticket now official Joe Biden and Kamala Harris – capping an historic convention..

Biden delivering the most consequential speech of his career. A blunt but optimistic message that included a withering attack on President Trump without ever mentioning him by name.

But making it clear – the fight against COVID is his most urgent task. Laying out a plan to combat it — from rapid testing to a mask mandate.

“We need calm competence and I think that was a major take away from the Democratic convention; and the contrast between the two candidates could not be more stark,” said Democratic Party Activist Keith Fitzgerald.

Meanwhile President Trump in a convention that broke with tradition, he laid out his case for another 4 years.

He blasted into Biden and the Democratic party, painting Biden and his allies as a fundamental threat to public safety, order and American traditions. The president also made the ominous claim that “no one will be safe in Joe Biden’s America.”

“There’s nobody else better than him to face the economic impacts that we face as a result of that Wuhan virus than the president,” said Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida and Senator Joe Gruters.

The race is on between President Trump and Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden. Both have about 10 weeks to win over voters.
