SARASOTA – Sarasota Police are investigating a car crash the sent one person to the hospital.
It happened just after 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the busy intersection of Fruitville Road and U.S. 301.
Spokeswoman for SPD Genevieve Judge tells SNN the crash involved one vehicle and a motorcyclist. Limited information has been released at this time about the crash.
SPD is reporting the motorcyclist was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. However, the extent of his injuries in unknown at this time.
