SARASOTA – The 2021 Summer Olympics may still be a few months away but athletes everywhere are gearing up for an anticipated very competitive couple of months.

And Nathan Benderson plans to be part of history.

With COVID-19 forcing the postponement of the Olympic and Paralympic games to later this summer —

Nathan Benderson Park and Princeton National Rowing Association have been selected to host the three re-scheduled Olympic & Paralympic team trials.

With rowing being the first event slated to start one month from today.

 From February 22th-26th the park will feature racing for both the men and women double sculls.

The venue previously hosted the 2016 U.S. Olympic & Paralympic team trials.

As well as the 2017 World Rowing Championships and the 2019 World Rowing under 23 Championships.
