SARASOTA – The search for the right assisted living facility for our loved ones to be well taken care of can be quite a task for some.

“I just knew from a very young age I just really wanted to help people,” said  Brittany Jennings.

For more than a decade Jennings has been an advocate for senior living facilities to get them the care they need.

Jennings launched her new business, Golden Girls Solutions. A no-cost solution that pairs seniors with the assisted living facility that’re equipped to help with their individual needs, and those can range from an array of options.

“Independent communities, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and the smaller adult family care as well,” said Jennings.

Catering to seniors in Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte County. She says the common misconception among seniors is the fear of losing their sense of independence when moving an assisted living community.

“So when assisted living first came around, they were more institutional.” said Jennings. “They felt more that way, so I would say peoples realization that a community is something that feels like home versus feeling

With roughly more than 800,000 residents in the U.S. living in these types of communities – Jennings hopes her business can lead to making the transition easier for them.
