HONOLULU (SNN-TV) – The University of Hawaii football team is pulling out of its own state’s bowl game due to Covid-19.

The Rainbow Warriors were set to host the Memphis Tigers today. Then, several U-H players and staff members became infected with Covid-19.

The team says that, combined with injuries and transfers, is why it’s pulling out of the Hawaii bowl.

With the bowl’s cancelation, it leaves today, Christmas Eve, without any major sports game being played.
