A Florida man is taken to the hospital with serious injures after a crash on I-75 in Manatee County, early Saturday morning.
It happened just after midnight at in the southbound lanes right before the university parkway exit.
A 34-year-old man driving a pickup truck rear-ended a semi with a trailer. The driver of the truck ended up veering into the grass and slamming into a concrete wall. He was take to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the semi left the scene.
